During my internship with Guess? Inc., I gained experience and knowledge in a multitude of realms, including through my work towards the G by Guess and Guess Factory stores, the Guess Sport Pop-up Experience, and various other areas.
In addition to my work, as part of the internship program, I attended many panel meetings with a range of departments to learn about everything that goes into making the Guess brand successful.
I designed everything in the accompanying photos, including the pods & banners, hang tags, try-fold standing display, bodyform risers, bar sign, and easels. In addition, I aided in the set up of the mock-store, and created vendor thumbnails for production.
In the following photos, I designed the banners, sale signs, hangtags, window clings, in addition to helping with store set up and laying out vendor thumbnails and prepping final files.
During my internship, I was tasked with ideating and conceptualizing holiday window displays for both brands I worked with. The main takeaway was to differentiate between the styles of each brand, while still maintaining the identity of Guess? Inc.
The Guess Sport pop up experience was a 2 day event with an exhibition of professional/local athletes, who competed in their niche sports throughout the event on a range of athletic fields, courts, and a skate park. There was also a carnival area, a car show, and performances. The event also included collaborations with many different brands, such as Rokit, Medicom Toy, Pleasures, Babylon, Cali Thornhill Dewitt, Guillermo Andrade and Drx Romanelli.
At the Guess Sport event, I designed many banners that covered the perimeter of the entire area. I worked with a team to acquire assets and provide thumbnails for vendors.
I designed various tents and tables for the event, such as the registration tents, information tent, and churro, burger, and pizza food vendor tents (40 Love Wings, Wally’s Pizza, and Ground House Burger).
This video shares additional work and experience from my internship, and documents more of the time I spent at Guess.
